Talent Award 2016
On Thursday 10 March, Naomi Mike and Anaïs Gourmeur together with Sarah van den Bijlaardt were named the winners of the 16th Schelstraete Delacourt Associates Talent Award.
Noami Mike (Universiteit Gent) won the prize for her thesis “Doelgericht rekruteren van vrouwen: Het effect van negatieve metastereotypes en hun verwoording in jobadvertenties”. The thesis by Anaïs Gourmeur and Sarah van den Bijlaardt (Université Catholique de Louvain) was entitled “Interface travail-famille et bien-être des travailleurs âgés – Analyse au travers de la théorie de la sélectivité socio-émotionnelle”.
This year we have once again had the co-operation of nine educational institutions. As well as Universiteit Gent (Faculteit Psychologie) and Université Catholique de Louvain the following institutions put forward candidates for the award: Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Université de Liège, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Universiteit Antwerpen, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfswetenschappen) en Universiteit Gent (Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfswetenschappen).
As professional chairmen of the panel of judges, Jan Van Hootegem (Group HR Director at Vandemoortele) and Pierre Braconnier (VP Employee HR Services at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals) were responsible for leading the judging and the presentation of these awards.
